Simon was born in the sleepy hills of southern Styria, Austria.
After too much technical geeking around he decided that he wanted to make movies. And what better way there is than to start as a photographer and learn everything on one particular frame. After that the journey led him on some of the nicest films and series that were shot in the last decade.
After working as a 2nd AC, then DIT, then Operator and 2nd Unit cinematographer, Simon is ready now to take the cinematography world.
